I just wanted everyone on here to know www.txholeyrocks.com is a new sponsor. My web page has videos, informative information about Texas Holey Rocks as well as other information such as Cichlid Health. We upload rocks about 2-4 times weekly, so bookmark us and check frequently. FREE shipping (Continental USA) under 45LB Rocks. NOTE: If you have multiple rocks equaling 60 LBS it's still free shipping.

Thanks

Unfortunately I don't have any specials or discounts for people affiliated with the excellent web page here or otherwise. Currently I have free shipping that is a pretty great deal. I am offering this for a limited time. On occasion I do have sales on holidays.

Thanks for asking.

Zak,

I just placed an order for 2 rocks. Please be sure to ship it to my address in Washington, as my paypal account still has my old address in Florida attached to it. I can't wait to get these!

Free shipping on rock is an EXCELLENT deal. Even a small rock can weigh a lot.

It's pretty amazing the rocks that are like 5" in diameter can be 7LBS or more. Boxing will add 3LBS on average and that is the part that people forget is that a box and packing material to get it to people is the more important end result. It's all worth it to me getting emails from happy people/fish owners in the hobby. It's 20 steps to get one single rock to arrive by mail. Shocked

BTW, to anyone considering buying from Zak, his prices absolutely destroy the prices of that other site that sells these rocks and his selection is far greater.

Glad that you like the rocks. Your fish like them even more I imagine Laughing . Pricing has really gone down because I have paid for all my expenses. Many people are selling them, but not solely by web page. It's mainly just finding them now. I about got cleaned out for selections of rocks for the web page currently. I have more coming in the week and weeks. As I type this I just finished my second pressure washing on a new batch and today I am photographing some. Hopefully my web admin will come up with some time to post them quickly. The 20 steps it takes to process these can be done in bulk lowering the price of coarse.

The video's were taken on a recent hunt. It had been discussed as to why these rocks were prices the way they are. I call it the farmers field syndrome. Not many know that it's difficult just to find them. I say it's the farmers field cause I speculate that people think it's just a clear path like a farmers field and I just go pick them off the ground nice and bright white. The reality is you mainly can't see 30 yds ahead of you due to the tree density. It's tough in that not only do you have to find them, but haul them out up to a mile or more sometimes. Rocks in a backpack 60+ Lbs in dense greenbelt terrain isn't glamorous in humid hot Texas. By the 10 video's I took I wanted to capture what I have learned and do when I am extracting these rocks.

3 exclusive web pages can be found. I talked to the other 2 and got feedback from them both early on. I did huge amounts of researching these rocks and learned as I go the do's and don't. It's all worth it dispite the difficulties it takes to get these to someones aquarium. What makes it all worth it is when I get a positive feed back from customers.

Send Photo's....... I would like to post it in the picture gallery on the web site.

Thanks Again for the wonderful comments.
Zak

Hello Everyone,
Feedback needed.

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i264/zemro535/0191.jpg
http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i264/zemro535/a-1.jpg
Curious to know some feedback on this type. It's 8LBS 15x10.5x5.5"
Hole is 3.5x2.5" 2.750x1.375" 1.125"x1"I know it's just 2 pictures. Minimum $ is $18 Max is $29 what is the price I don't know. Make an offer if you truely want it. (48 states USA only Free shipping)

This has one huge hole, one other large slim hole(Fish can swim through) and one smaller hole. It lacks the high characteristics typical of the these rocks. It's a different characteristic style. It's unique, deceptive --> narrow rock flares out. It's picture is laying down to get a photo of the holes clearly. The smallest hole can't be seen if it's upright. I can't photograph it front on depicting the holes. I have been hesitant to put these on the web page cause in reality it's way cool in my thoughts, but they don't photograph well. People would have to really hold it in the hands to see it. I know you probably could say that to all the rocks, but these holes due to the frontal viewing being limited of all the holes kills the potential it truly has.

What type of fish is that in the picture second from the bottom with blue and brown stripes and orange fins? How old are they? We have three like that, I think, but only on is coloring up and it almost has that much blue as yours. The others are brownish with dark brown stripes.

dwhanc00,

That fish you are inquiring about is a Cyphotilapia Frontosa.

But Rob has the Acei.

Which fish are you talking about? In the bottom picture with the fish at the left hand corner? That is the Cyphotilapia frontosa. If not the fish you are talking about, let me know.

Hello Everyone. Great day today and every day for that fact, huh?
I just spoke to my web administrator and he's uploaded quite a bit of new rocks. Check it out and hope you all appreciate it. A sale will be on the web page shortly too is what he said. Were trying to clear out some older rocks in my rock room that have been sitting. I seriously need some room as I have 1000LBS of rocks outside that are finished in the cleaning process. I need to make room for those rock. Orders Today and Monday 25th June 2007 by 9PM take $5.00 off any order of 2 rocks or more. Email me. I can not Garantee that rocks will be available as I have to do some emailing and phone calling to my web administrator to place all orders. I will attempt to monitor emailing to me on the hour. Please Email me here as this offer only is good if your a member of African Cichlids.net

Thanks,
Zak White
