I'm not saying this is correct but I heard that you shouldn't mix different species of Tropheus. I guess because of the territory boundaries an of inbreeding. I could be wrong or full of __it, just passing it along. JMO or 2 cents worth..........JimJames Schmidt

Okay, I read that as well, but I also read an article that said you can't mix the same breeds. For example, 2 different Moori's. But if you have a moori and a doboisi, then the chance of interbreeding is very low.
I just don't want my 120g tank with the 40 of the same fish.
