Your best bet is to buy a good book on the subject of keeping malawi cichlids.I've never seen a corner tank set up as malawi mbuna so maybe someone else could advise you on that.As far as stocking goes it should be 50-60cm/20-24" total length per square foot of bottom.Substrate should be sand to a depth of 2 to 3" i use builders sand but if you live in a soft water area you could use crushed coral sand to push up your p.h. level, decor should be piles and piles of rockwork creating plenty of caves and hiding spots try to cover your whole back glass with rockwork to the brim, also some along the sides and a few dotted around the front.Best rock to use is ocean, tufa, limestone and cavitite which are calcareous and contribute to the hardness, because malawi mbuna need to
be overstocked to reduce aggression you also need to over filter so i dont think one internal would be enough i personally always use two large external canister filters.Aim for double the tank capacity i.e 200 litre tank you want 400litre filtation capacity with a high gph.You can never have enough tanks.

I completely agree with alistair. I have also seen a thickly stocked tank with demasoni and yellow labs in it and it was BEAUTIFUL.Lee Ann http://www.africancichlids.net/
