I posted in the general forum but figured I may get more replies here.
Here is my potential stocking list for a 180 gallon.

10 paracyprichromis nigripinnis
10 cyprichromis leptosoma
8 ophthalmotilapia ventralis
10-15 lamprologus ocellatus

and I am thinking of some tropheus moori as well.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Should I put in more or less? Any issues with compatability?

Tropheus are very active rambunctious fish. They behave very much like Malawian mbuana. I'm afraid that they would wreak havoc among the fish that you have selected for this tank. They are extremely playful and curious and would be better in a species-only or species plus catfish tank.

With Malawian fish, you can pretty much mix the whole lake together (as far as behavior goes). With Tanganyikans you really have to pay attention to what niche they fill and their behavior towards other fish that encroach on their territory. If you mix a bunch of shell-dwellers together, you will have fights to the death between species (unless you can separate their territories with barriers like rock piles). If you mix Frontosa and Cyprichromis together, you will only have Frontosa in your tank the next day because in the wild, they eat Cyprichromis. It's their happy meal.

The fish you have selected pretty much occupy different niches and most likely won't bother each other much outside the odd 'hey you're too close' rush and nip.

But Tropheus are aufwuchs grazers... in the wild, they pick over rocks that are covered with algae and tiny crustaceans. They will go over every surface in the tank, and when they encounter a fish, they're like "oooh! a soccer ball! let's kick it around a bit!"... very fun fish to keep, but I wouldn't mix them with expensive featherfins if it were me.

I would like to get one more fish that colorful but NOT BLUE.

Any suggestions that would be compatible with the others?

What about neolamprogolus leleupi ? there colourful bright orange fish.

You can never have enough tanks.
