NO but it really does depend on the filter, heaters, and lights you are using. Some heaters cost more, some filters cost more, and lights cost quite a bit if you are leaving them on all day.

yea it will be very heavy even with tempered glass. So be careful when moving it. No South Americans and Africans can not be housed together.

good luck

Yea, leave it. It's good for the fish and gives the tank a more natural look. It keeps lots of oxygen in the tank plus the fish can eat it

I have always used bleach for cleaning but not for green algae, just brown algae and it worked. I don't know about peroxide but it does make since. There are people that would pay for rocks with algae on them like that. Don't take it personal but I would have bagged all them rocks and saved them with the algae. I have been trying for months for algae. No luck yet. Hopefully soon with the CO2 injector in the tank.

good luck

didn't I answer this question on the instant messenger?

Umm I think you will be okay with about 40-50 adult fish. It really depends on how much hiding you have in the tank. Remember what I told you, I have about 30 adult fish in mine plus 40 or so juvies. Thats 70 fish. I will eventually end up giving about 20 juvie peacocks away but then I should have about50 fish in mine and I think it will be fine. Some may disagree with this number but I think it's really what works for you. I still have plenty of space in my tank as I don't have tons and tons of hiding, I have only what I need. I have had my fish for a long time and know their behaviors so I know how much hiding they need but in some tanks, you need a lot more hiding. So it's really up to the person. Good luck

If you want sand, get any kind of white sand at the petstore but be prepared to pay for it. It's expensive
