tring to choose a filter for my new 180 gallon

it came with 4 filters 2 aquaclear 500(hob)
and 2 magnum 350(canister)

i realy woudl liek to use just one filter but there were im stuck im not sure if i should go with a canister like the fx5
or get a wet/dry filter if any 1 has some imput thanks


55 gal cichlid tank
30 gal hostpitle/fry tank
180 gal cichlid tank still in process of cleaning all stuff for it

I keep hearing the wet/dry is the better one

yea thats what i hear form some as well but i can onlky find ones set up for 125 gal tanks not 180

wel i did see 1 on line but im not exatly sure how they work but if im not mistakeen you have to have to box and then you have to buy a pump too?
