This is the only African Cichlid I don't know what it is. It was given to me. I'm sorry if I didn't do this right on here. I'm new to this.

I believe it to be of the Pseudotropheus family. Still looking to see which one. Will get back to you if I find it.

Could be a haplochromis of some sort too. Not sure. I can't seem to find it and also having a problem identifying the snout on it. Its possible it can be a hybrid. Sorry. Maybe someone else knows.

LeeAnn, I didn't take it as a personal dig, I was just messing with you more than anything. I was trying to be funny but you being two states over from me wouldn't know that I guess as you can't see my face when I say it, that's why in the PM I gave you a raspberry when covering this topic
Maybe your smileys don't work good for expression
Maybe I shouldn't be so much of a wise acre
Maybe I should think harder before I speak
Or maybe I just shouldn't use these smileys at all
Maybe it's time for me to really start learning the ins and outs of my hobby and stop going off what I learn on the interent. I do know exactly what you mean though, when I bought my obliquidens, they were listed at the store as Haplochromis and when I looked them up on the internet I couldn't find any info on them. Well very little anyways. But I eventually did learn their real name. Hey you know the old saying "it's all sounds like Greek to me". And Homer would say "Doh!"
Last thing I want everyone to think here is that I don't know anything at all about african cichlids and never come here in fear they are going to get bad info.
And just for the record, I wrote 3-4 other responses here before deleting them saying that I thought this fish to be some sort of peacock but couldn't place the snout. But my uncertainty got the best of me. I do agree with LeeAnn on this subject.
