Here are some new shots tonight with rearrangement and plants and a homeade CO2 injector

Don't you just love it when you think you are getting a good shot and then later after looking at it you realize one of your pretty little fish is relieving himself for everyone to see
In case you don't know, I broke up the huge lava rock that my kenyi Kenny called home. I didn't want to but it weighed a lot, I use to think it only weighed about 25 lbs, but later realized it weighed double that so I worried about it in one location in the this tank being the glass was thinner than in the 3 foot tall tank that had 1/2 inch thick glass. So I broke it up into 3 pieces and Kenny still has a huge piece to call home.

It's really hard to get a full shot of the aquarium and have it come out good.

The CO2 injector didn't change my pH level. I had hoped that it would. I had hoped that having the plants would raise the pH. My pH is on the lower end of the scale but still somewhat suitable. It's 7.6. I would like to get that raised to atleast 8.0 I have removed the driftwood just recently and hope that will help somewhat. If that fails I am going to the rock depot and getting some limestone. That will raise the pH naturally. I don't have crushed coral in my tank. Just sand.
Since them pictures were taken, I have removed all my plants, CO2 injector and driftwood because of a nitrate issue I was having. I couldn't figure out why my nitrates raised to 40 and couldn't get them to go down even with water changes and new filter media. So I took everything out that didn't need to be in there leaving just my large rocks for hiding, did another water change and have been checking the nitrates and ammonia daily and I have gotten them down to 15 and they are staying there. So the culprit was most likely the plants.
