i went to Cancun last week. it was very nice there. anyways, i purchased this seashell. it's about 8 inches by 5 inches. it's got several holes like apartments. i figured it would be nice since the fish likes to go into small areas to sleep. what i want to know is I'm pretty sure this think came from sea water which is salt water. can i put it into my tank? do i need to treat it with something or clean it with something?

As far as I know, it just needs to be cleaned very well. If it looks like it wont fall apart, I would even try boiling it for a few minutes just incase there is any biological growths on it.
