i currently have a small malawi tank, but i am starting to take towards the tanganyika fish and thinking of moving up to a 75 or so. i was thinking of going with some yellow leleupi, julie marlieri, cyprichromis leptosoma, maybe some brichardi and i was thinking about incorporating some shell dwellers. i would like any suggestions and recommendations on some other fish and on filters and substrates. thanks.

Sounds like a dream tank to me.

How about a small school (5-7) of Synodontis petricola catfish?

Grab some shells and drop them in clusters in each front corner of the tank... put brevis in one corner and perhaps gold ocellatus or multifasciatus in the other.

Someone on here was finding escargot shells on ebay... you can also find neuthauma shells collected from Lake Tanganyika online.

Good luck!
