Im new to this forum so opologies if this topic is in the wrong section.

I aquired 2 cichlids with a tank I have purchased and need an id.

I beleive them to be Malawi Mbunas but would like a full ID if possible. Here is a picture of one of them.

I have the tank at PH 8.0 have'nt been able to check the hardness or anything yet. Here is a picture of my tank. Is it set up ok?

Looks like a young blue Cobalt Metriaclima Calaninos(spelling)

It looks like a Cobalt Zebra (Metriaclima callainos) . I use to have one. Your tank is big enough. But, I was always told and from experience, you need alot of hiding spots caves, plants , etc for africans for less aggression.
