How do you get your pictures to go on the forum when you look at it without downloading from your computer? Now, back to your fish dying. What are their symptoms? I would take your water in to your Local Fish Store and get your water tested. I'd do at least a 20% water change and Aquarium salt for African Cichlids. Also, I always feed my African Cichlids Spectrum ( they grow fast w/ this food and it brings out their color),Spirulina Flake Food( they grow fast w/ this food and it brings out their color) , Romaine Lettuce, zuccini parboiled and frozen peas parboiled. Once again you have a Beautiful tank. Take Care,

Thank you for the compliment on my tank!!! I used infraview to change the size, then uploaded them to photobucket. I used the [IMG] code to add them to this forum.
I did a 20% water change last weekend. After I did that, I couldnt find any of my fish, it was like they disappeared. It was most likely my fault bcz the water I put back into the tank was too cold i think and i added it too fast. Then the next day, I added those sea fans. Then the next day the whole tank was very cloudy and had lots of bubbles on top. The fish just lay at the bottom of the tank and their eyes looked cloudy and milky. About 10 fish died.
Tuesday of this week, things started looking better, most of the dead fish were taken out, i think i got all of them. But i was in a panic bcz i spent alot of money for the tank, the stuff in it...and the fish. Thats how I ended up on this site. lol looking for HELP! MM gave me some good advice yesterday. I did a 25% water change last night and cleaned the filter stuff. The water is clearing up, the bubbles went away, and the fish look happy again. The pics you see where taken last night after i did the water change.
So hopefully things will go back to normal. I see now, I have alot to learn.

Make sure any time you add any decoration to the tank that you clean it well first... rinse, rinse, and rinse some more... if the item has come from another tank, you might even want to boil it (let it cool though!).
I agree... you need to move more toward a vegetable-based diet.
Also, when putting rocks in the tank, make sure they aren't GREEN or have metallic looking flecks in them. Sometimes certain minerals are toxic to fish.
To answer your question about photos boo, if you want us to host the photo do as you've done before and just upload it... after it loads, and you still have the option of editing your post, look just below the text box to the section called 'File Attachments'. You'll see the name of the file, then the size, then under 'action', you'll see 'delete' or 'insert image into message body'. Click on that one, and voila! Your image will show inside your message. Just make sure to hit 'enter' a couple times before inserting the text or it will look odd. Hope that helps!

I just reread your last column and you said you did a 25% water change last night and cleaned the filter stuff. I was told that when you do a water chance not to touch your filter until the next day or two because bacteria issues. Just thought I'd pass that info to you. If you have any more fish in the tank with their eyes looking cloudy or milky I would take them out and move to a hospital tank if you can. I'd do at least a 20% water change in about 4 days. I always do 20% water change every week. I'm thinking your Sea Fan decorations you just put in might had some hidden dirt on them and it got your water dirty so, it gave the fish cloudy eye because of the water getting dirty. Also, I always have my water tempature at 81 degrees to keep parasites and etc away. Don't put cold water because they can get ick. When I add water to my tank I make sure it's at a temputature like the way a baby's bottle should feel. Also, what LeeAnn said check and find out if any of your decorations could have any toxic in them. I hope you get your tank and fish back to normal again. Good Luck and Take Care,
BOO

Thanks BOO! About the filter cleaning, I just read the same thing...that i should not touch it the same day. It also said when i 'replace' the media, not to do all 3 filters on the same day. AND, I was cleaning the stuff with tap water, another error from what i read. I should use water from the tank???
I'm learning...and appreciate all the HELP you guys are giving me! As of this morning, everything seems to be back to normal, water is still a little cloudy but is clearing up on its own. I have not added any of that clear water stuff. I'm happy, I was panic...bcz I spent lots of money on all the fish.
