my mother acei is holding again!!! yaaaahhooooooo..... just one bad thing i think my socofele (spelling) is holding also i think.... and another bad thing isss my 10 gal holding tank is in use with smaller cichlids... that are growing out to go in to the 75 gal tank.

i think i have 2 fish holding at this point.....and i think another one is going to be holding soon..... my yellow kenyi keeps shimmying like crazy in front of its mate but that one doesnt look like its holding!!! this is one friskey tank at this moment and i dont have space or money for to buy more fish tanks....

i have two breeder holding tanks one has a air pump on it to pump air from the mom and it sucks the water to keep constent clear water to the mom and once she spits it will pull the babys in to a smaller holding area for them to keep from mom eating them then you just feed them there. im going to wait on the one mom tillshes about to bust and im going to get up really erly and get her when shes sleeping. the other mom i think i may try and catch her and make her spit due to there is no male in the tank that she can mate with.... and last night i seen on of my fish had a red spot on its side its half the size of a smile on here, my fish in the 75 gal are around 3 inch long.... and the new ones are around 1-1.5 inch problem is one is sick and i dont want it in the main tank yet and i can put them in there with the texas rock and they can hide in it but lately there has been some major fighting in the tank it needs cleaned and rearanged again and i need more rocks.

now only my acei is holding i just got a light for my ten gallon set up its a indecent light set up but you can buy fluresent bulbs for them that are 10 w that are = to 50 watt of indecent lighting... so they say, it looks good im going to let it on over night tonight after i swap my smaller fish in the main tank. then im going to get moma acei and put her in the 2 or 3 days later, im going to get up really early and catch her and put her in the ten gallon. i plan on letting the light on for a few nights to get alae to bloom and grow for the babys once they come they can eat it!!! hopefully it works out.

grats pics a lil blurry but you can see them a little try and rezize it grats though
55 gal cichlid tank
30 gal hostpitle/fry tank
180 gal cichlid tank still in process of cleaning all stuff for it

i went out and got some food made for baby fish sinking granduals, and when i do clean the breeder box i use small foam pad on a stick and the fish usly swim away... and that devider i tryed taking it out last night... its stuck so im going try and get it out later today when im not so bizy... my gf works tonight so i can do that and im going to try and doo a water change on my main tank and a 10% on the ten gal my mom over feed the babys a little so i had to clean the box from that little to much food.... all i have to do is keep chems out of the tank.

the baby fish are swiming strong. i left the light on for a few hours last night and they were going strong swiming from one end of the breeder tank to the other end of it.

i think my acei is holding again she just spit in the tank like monday some day.... i caught a bunch out of the 75 gal tank. so i have a 10 gal tank with around 25 babys in it about 3/4 inch long. and a breeder tank holding around 14 that i got out of the 75 gal tank. i dont want her holding she hasnt had time to eat much she maybe ate for 7 days.... should i make her spit or let her go she seem to eat pretty hearty when she wasnt holding but shes about half the size of my male now and the 2 i added to to breed with the male are almost as big as her and darker in color i donno if they are male i hope not then i just wasted more money on male fish grrrr. for now on im going to buy them off line and only females grrrr.

she isnt holding i was pretty happy. i have no more room for fry and i want her to eat and get come color back shes vary dull looking. she also needs to grow up a little more so she can hold more fry in her mouth!!!!!!!!! for bigger batches.
