You thinking of getting some of the ones the CRLCA was offering? Shocked

I didnt even know they were offering these, so of corse once you pointed it out I had to go and have a look. These are pretty much what I had in mind.

Now comes the question what can you tell me about them? or do you know where I can find a good site.

thanks

I'm just copying what was said about them on CRLCA newsgroup.

The Mastacembelid eels will be a hot item. These gentle
interesting fish are best kept in pairs in a community tank with
rock pile hiding. They feed best on sinking food, and are not
particularly fussy eaters. We are importing a trial group of about 24 and will take pre-orders. We have asked Toby Veall to give us small sizes here.

Try looking up the genus Mastacembelus. It contains Spiny eels, Tire track eels, and fire eels, etc. Smile

Thanks Lisa.

i went down to Guelph and talked with the guy there he said he'd be getting more in, in January. He also said they make a great addition to the community tank, and are very gentle apparently they will live well with catfish and just about everything. He said they can even become acustome to taking flake food.

Thanks again and if you find a good site on them drop me a line.
