So, I had a pair of kribs in my 20 gallon. Considering they were hanging around together and beating the shit out of anybody that got near, I figured they were mated, but no results had shown.
So I come home today, and see the two hovering around what seems to be a bunch of beige tank crud on the floor of the tank.

<pause> Then I realize the tank crud is *moving*.
I got me some Kiiiiiiiids!

I'm having a big streak of luck here. First the labs, now the kribs. My thick-skins were doing mad fish nookie but the bitch aborted the clutch. Dang. Oh well, next time.

My female did, right off. She was a normal-colored one, but she beat the snot out of a larger albino female in doing the mad krib courting dance. Apparently she horned in on the male just fiiine. Never mind he's three times her length sans caudal fin. Jailbait little wench.
It's cute as hell seeing the parents guard the kids. Even funnier when they pick up stragglers and go PTOI! back into the gang.

Here's hoping yours do the nasty and my thick-skins don't think eggs are appetizers....
